Tips for Receiving Parcels
Please consider the following recommendations when receiving your order through any of the couriers we use.
Receiving
Before opening your packages and signing for receipt, verify the following:
- All package labels must be in your name.
- Packaging must not be torn or wet.
- Security seals must not be broken.
- The number of packages must match the “Delivery Report.”
Detecting Irregularities
If any package shows a broken security seal:
- It is very important to MAKE NOTES ON THE CARRIER'S WAYBILL INDICATING THE CONDITION OF RECEIPT.
- Notify the driver making the delivery and ask them to wait while you check the merchandise in their presence. If the driver refuses:
- DO NOT SIGN FOR RECEIPT. Otherwise, any subsequent claim will be INVALID.
- Request the courier employee to return the package and immediately contact us to file a report and have your package resent.
Additional Actions
If you choose to accept the merchandise, it is important to take photos before opening the package and make notes on the Carrier’s Waybill describing the condition of the shipment:
Number of packages and identify any damaged, broken, or tape-altered packages (different from the tape used by JYRSA®, usually brown tape).
- Send a photo of the product label and the Waybill label.
- Take photos of the top, bottom, and sides of the package (box or bundle), ensuring clarity and good resolution.
- If you notice damage upon receipt and still decide to keep the merchandise, make a note on the Waybill and keep a copy to scan and send to us when filing the claim.
- Contact us immediately to file a report. Claims are only accepted within three days of receiving the package.
